Who can take part
- Be an adult (18 to 85 years old)
- Have mainly neck pain (not pain that shoots into the arm) for at least 3 months
- Have severe enough pain, about 5 out of 10 or higher on average over the last 7 days
- Have noticeable trouble from the pain, such as an NDI score of 15/50 or higher (about 30% or more)
- Have tried pain medicines and physical therapy for at least 3 months without enough relief
- Have had two diagnostic nerve-block tests in a row that both helped (one short-acting and one long-acting medicine)
