Who can take part
- Be age 18 or older
- Have a confirmed non-cancer (non-malignant) brain meningioma, by diagnosis or pathology
- Be well enough to take part: ECOG better than 2 or Karnofsky score of 70 or higher
- Have not had any prior radiation to the brain/head area (including stereotactic radiosurgery)
- Your treatment plan must be able to avoid a close-in target involving both sides of the area around the hippocampus within 5 mm
- Have a high-quality MRI scan where hippocampus areas can be outlined (slice thickness must be 2 mm or less)
