Who can take part

  • Be age 18 or older
  • Have a confirmed non-cancer (non-malignant) brain meningioma, by diagnosis or pathology
  • Be well enough to take part: ECOG better than 2 or Karnofsky score of 70 or higher
  • Have not had any prior radiation to the brain/head area (including stereotactic radiosurgery)
  • Your treatment plan must be able to avoid a close-in target involving both sides of the area around the hippocampus within 5 mm
  • Have a high-quality MRI scan where hippocampus areas can be outlined (slice thickness must be 2 mm or less)
