Who can take part
- You have head-and-neck cancer that needs palliative (symptom-relieving) radiation
- Your cancer is unresectable, recurring, or has spread (metastatic), and you either already get a PD-1 drug (pembrolizumab or nivolumab) or your doctor can start one
- You have at least one tumor spot that a doctor can safely inject RiMO-301 and treat with the planned radiation plan
- The tumor spot is measurable on scans, and it is not in an area already treated with radiation recently (at least 6 months ago) or you had no serious problems from prior radiation
- You are at least 18 years old, well enough to do daily activities (ECOG 0–2), and have expected survival of at least 12 weeks
