Who can take part

  • Be age 12 to 65 when you sign consent
  • Have epilepsy that does not respond well to seizure medicines (drug-resistant) and still expect seizures
  • Have seizures that are not only absence, only myoclonic jerks, or only epileptic spasms
  • Have more than 10 seizure days per year and at least 2–4 seizure days per month in the last 3 months (not just at night)
  • Be able to use a smartphone (Android or iOS); a family member can help if needed
