Diagnosing epilepsy to help guide treatment

This trial tests a new device to help diagnose epilepsy in people whose previous EEG brain monitoring did not give clear answers. If you have drug-resistant epilepsy with at least one seizure a month on average, this study may help find better treatment options.

Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with focal or generalized epilepsy
  • Your seizures are not controlled by medication
  • You have had at least 1 seizure per month on average in the last 3 months
  • You had a multi-day brain wave test (EEG) that did not give clear results, and your condition hasn't changed since then
  • You have not had epilepsy surgery in the last 6 months
  • You do not have an active brain stimulation device like DBS or RNS
