Who can take part
- You are an adult age 18 or older
- Your injury is a blunt head injury and happened within the last 72 hours
- Your initial Glasgow Coma Score (GCS) is 8 or less (a measure of how awake you are)
- There is enough “TCD window” for the ultrasound test to work on your head
- A legally authorized representative can give consent if you cannot consent yourself
