Who can take part
- Be 18 years or older
- Have signed consent to join the study
- Have breast cancer confirmed by biopsy (and it is stage III that can’t be operated on or stage IV that has spread)
- Not have received any chemotherapy, targeted therapy, or hormone therapy specifically for metastatic (stage IV) disease yet
- Have at least one metastatic spot that doctors can biopsy (take a tissue sample)
- Have an estimated life expectancy of more than 3 months
