Who can take part

  • You are an adult (18 or older) and can give informed consent
  • You have chronic kidney disease stages 3 through 5D (including people on dialysis)
  • You have a medical reason to be treated for kidney-related high parathyroid hormone, bone weakness, or osteoporosis
  • Your blood tests show a specific pattern (or your bone biopsy shows a specific pattern) of “low” or “high” bone turnover
  • You are not in another drug/device study or have not been in one in the last 30 days
  • You should not be planning a kidney transplant during the study or soon after a transplant
