Who can take part

  • You are over 18 years old
  • You are at term (more than 37 weeks pregnant) and carrying one baby
  • You are in active labor with cervical dilation between 6 and 9 cm (spontaneous or induced)
  • You have an epidural, and the baby is in head-first position (not breech)
  • An ultrasound shows the baby’s head is positioned in an OP or OT position, and you will have continuous fetal monitoring
  • You can understand the study and sign consent
