Who can take part

  • You are in the postpartum period after having your baby
  • Your baby pregnancy was a single baby (twins usually do not qualify, except certain early “vanishing twin” situations)
  • You live in Connecticut, Massachusetts, or New York (and preferably near the study hospitals)
  • You speak English or Spanish
  • You have Medicaid (or equivalent) or you are uninsured
  • You can talk with the study team by phone or telehealth
