Who can take part
- You have type 1 or type 2 diabetes.
- Your most recent hemoglobin A1c is 10% or lower within 2 months.
- You can attend all study visits and eye testing on the schedule.
- In the study eye, you have diabetic macular edema that involves the center of the fovea.
- Your best corrected vision in the study eye is 19 to 78 letters (it must be low mainly because of the swelling).
