Who can take part
- You have type 1 or type 2 diabetes
- Your main vision problem is center diabetic macular edema (DME), confirmed by an eye scan
- Your DME thickness on the scan is within a specific range, based on the imaging machine used
- Your vision test score is between 24 and 78 letters on an eye chart
- You have not had anti-VEGF shots recently (or you had no prior shots, or you have had at least 2 shots with incomplete swelling improvement) and the last shot was at least 6 weeks ago
- Your diabetes is reasonably controlled (HbA1c must be under 10%)
