Who can take part
- You have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes
- You are currently taking only metformin (a common diabetes pill) and your blood sugar isn't well controlled
- Your most recent A1C test result is between 7.5% and 10.5%
- Your body mass index (BMI) is 45 or lower
- You have not had cancer treatment in the last 5 years and have not had a heart attack or stroke in the last 6 months
