Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 75 years old.
- You have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes within the last 2 years.
- Your A1c (average blood sugar over 3 months) is between 7% and 9%.
- Your fasting blood sugar is 11.1 mmol/L or lower at the screening visit.
- Your body mass index (BMI) is 18.5 or higher.
- You have never taken any diabetes medication before.
