Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with alcohol use disorder (4 or more DSM-5 criteria)
  • You are currently in the hospital for a 3-week alcohol withdrawal program
  • You are 18 to 70 years old and can take part in French-language study visits
  • You have not had alcohol in the 48 days before being admitted
  • You do not have other addictions besides smoking or cannabis
  • You are not taking omega-3, antibiotics, probiotics, or fiber supplements in the last 2 months
