Who can take part
- You are between 21 and 65 years old.
- You have been diagnosed with moderate or severe alcohol use disorder.
- You have had at least one episode of alcohol withdrawal symptoms that interfered with your daily life or required medication.
- You have had at least 21 days of heavy drinking (4+ drinks for women, 5+ for men) in the last 28 days.
- You are not currently pregnant and, if you could become pregnant, you agree to use effective birth control during the study.
- You have no serious liver disease, history of seizures (except from alcohol withdrawal), or other unstable medical conditions.
