Who can take part

  • You have AML and it was diagnosed by bone marrow testing and immunophenotyping
  • You are in your first remission: CR or CRi after 1–2 induction cycles, and you had consolidation treatment for at least 4 cycles
  • Your age is 60 to 85
  • Your liver and kidney blood tests are within set limits, and your bilirubin is not too high
  • Your heart function is good enough (left ventricular ejection fraction at least 50%), and your physical functioning score is 0–3
  • You can sign informed consent, and you are not allergic to any study medicines
