Who can take part

  • You have favorable-risk AML and are not planning to get an allogeneic stem cell transplant right away
  • You are between 18 and 64 years old and currently in your first remission
  • You finished remission induction therapy and then 3–4 cycles of cytarabine-based consolidation (high-dose or medium-dose)
  • Your health status is fairly good (ECOG 0 to 3) and your heart and organ tests are adequate (bilirubin, liver enzymes, kidney function, and heart pumping strength)
  • You can participate safely with the study medicines (including pregnancy prevention if applicable)
  • You can understand and sign the informed consent
