Who can take part
- You have had a new (acute) ischemic stroke diagnosed by a clinician
- Your stroke affected the front part of the brain and you received emergency endovascular thrombectomy
- Imaging (CTA or DSA) shows an artery blockage/lesion in certain brain arteries (like MCA or ICA, and possibly others listed)
- After the procedure, your blood flow improved to at least mTICI 2b (the clot-removal worked sufficiently)
- You can have a 3T MRI vessel-wall scan (HR-VWI)
- You do not have reasons you cannot safely receive MRI and/or gadolinium contrast (if needed)
