Who can take part
- You are age 18 to 75, and you can understand the study and sign consent.
- Your stomach or food-pipe (gastroesophageal) cancer is HER2-negative and is locally advanced and not removable or has spread.
- You have not had treatment for your cancer before, or you finished chemo/radiation before and were stable for at least 6 months.
- You can provide stored tumor tissue or agree to have a new biopsy.
- Your body labs and organ function are strong enough (blood counts, liver, kidneys) and you’re expected to live at least 3 months.
- You must be able and willing to use effective birth control during treatment and for 6 months after.
