Who can take part
- You are 65 or older, or you are 18-64 and have other serious illnesses (a score of 6 or more on a health checklist).
- You are able to take care of yourself and are up and about (ECOG score 0-2).
- You have a confirmed diagnosis of CLL or SLL and need to start treatment for it.
- You have not had any previous treatment for CLL or SLL.
- Your organs (kidneys, liver, blood counts) are in good enough shape – your doctor will check.
- You do not have certain high-risk genetic changes (like 17p deletion or TP53 mutation).
