First-line orelabrutinib plus BG for CLL or SLL
Part of Blood & lymphatic, Cancer clinical trials.
This Phase 2 study tests whether orelabrutinib (a targeted pill) plus BG treatment works better as the first treatment for chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) or small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL). It may help shrink measurable lymph nodes and improve disease control in people who have not received CLL/SLL treatment before.
Summary written for real people, not researchers, by Clin2.
Who can take part
- You must have been diagnosed with CLL/SLL and your cancer cells should be CD20-positive, confirmed by a lab test on blood or tissue.
- You have not had any prior full (systematic) CLL/SLL treatment.
- You have measurable disease, such as at least one enlarged lymph node (over 1.5 cm) and evidence of ongoing CLL/SLL (or, in some CLL cases, enough circulating lymphocytes).
- Your general health and body function must be good enough (ECOG 0–2) and you’re expected to live at least 12 weeks.
- Your blood and organ tests must meet safety thresholds (for example: enough white blood cells/ANC, enough platelets, and acceptable liver/kidney function).
- You must not have certain high-risk genetic changes (TP53 mutation or 17p deletion) and must not have had Richter’s transformation (CLL/SLL turning into a more aggressive lymphoma).

This study compares a fixed-cycle treatment with a BTK inhibitor (a type of targeted therapy) to see which works better for CLL/SLL. It is for people who need treatment and have not had standard therapy before.
This trial tests if adding orelabrutinib (a targeted pill) to standard chemotherapy, with or without a stem cell transplant, works better for people with a new diagnosis of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. It may help patients who have a higher risk of the lymphoma coming back.
This trial tests two new oral medications (ICP-248 and Orelabrutinib) together as a first treatment for people with CLL or SLL. The goal is to see if this combination works better than current options and is safe for newly diagnosed patients.
This trial tests a combination of targeted therapy (orelabrutinib) plus chemotherapy (BR) or antibody therapy (G) for people with untreated marginal zone lymphoma. It aims to see if this combination can help patients who haven't had treatment yet.
This trial tests a combination of targeted therapy (Orelabrutinib) plus standard chemotherapy (Pola-R-CHP) for people with untreated non-GCB diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. The goal is to see if this new mix works better than the usual treatment.
This trial tests a combination of two targeted drugs, orelabrutinib and rituximab, as the first systemic treatment for marginal zone lymphoma. If you have not yet had chemotherapy for your lymphoma and meet certain health criteria, you may be able to join.
