Who can take part

  • You have esophagus squamous cell cancer confirmed by biopsy or surgery
  • Your cancer is advanced, has come back, or has spread, and cannot be removed with curative surgery
  • Your tumor PD-L1 level (CPS) is below 10
  • You have not had chemotherapy or other cancer medicines as the main first treatment for advanced/spread disease
  • You can do day-to-day activities fairly well (ECOG 0 or 1)
  • Your scans show at least one measurable tumor spot on CT or MRI within 28 days
