Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You have esophageal squamous cell cancer that was treated with immunotherapy and chemotherapy before surgery (no radiation planned during the study).
  • After surgery, the main tumor still had some cancer cells (stage ypT1-4a) but no cancer in the lymph nodes (N0).
  • You had surgery to completely remove the cancer (radical resection).
  • You are able to perform your daily activities with little or no help (ECOG score 0 or 1).
  • You have no signs of cancer recurrence or spread before starting treatment, and your organs are working well enough for chemotherapy and immunotherapy.
