Who can take part
- You identify as a member of a racial or ethnic minority group (Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino, American Indian/Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander, or similar)
- You have been diagnosed with locally advanced, unresectable, or metastatic gastric, gastroesophageal, or esophageal cancer confirmed by biopsy
- You have not received any systemic chemotherapy or immunotherapy for your advanced cancer before
- Your tumor shows positive PD-L1 expression (a marker your cancer cells express; your doctor can check prior test results)
- You are in good enough overall health to tolerate treatment (ECOG performance status 0–1, meaning you can care for yourself with minimal or no assistance)
- You are willing to use effective birth control if you can become pregnant or father children, during and for several months after treatment
