Study drug peptides for blocked leg artery disease

Peripheral Arterial Occlusive Disease

This study tests how well a drug called Slavinorm® (regulatory polypeptides) works and is safe for adults with blocked arteries in the legs due to atherosclerosis. You might be considered if you have confirmed leg artery blockage and can safely do a treadmill walking test.

Who can take part

  • Be an adult age 18 or older
  • Have leg artery disease from atherosclerosis, confirmed by ultrasound or angiography
  • Be able to complete the screening treadmill test by walking at least 2 mph (3.2 km/h) for at least 2 minutes
  • Not have a history of severe allergy (anaphylaxis) to the drug or its ingredients, including animal proteins
  • Not have serious heart rhythm/heart-lung limits that make treadmill testing unsafe (trial-related ECG and other contraindications)
  • Not have major recent heart problems (like a heart attack/chest pain episode within the last 6 months), severe heart failure, or severe kidney/liver disease
