One-time radiation for prostate cancer with bladder-sparing approach

Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with prostate cancer (prostate adenocarcinoma), and your risk grade is Group 1 to 5
  • You are 18 years or older and can sign informed consent
  • Recent scans show no cancer in nearby lymph nodes and no spread to distant organs
  • You have acceptable urine flow and low urine leftover after peeing (and you may need hormone therapy to improve prostate size)
  • You have not had radiation to the pelvis before, and your mobility/energy is limited to ECOG 0–2
