Compare two induction treatments for newly diagnosed high-risk AML

Who can take part

  • You’re between 18 and 64 years old, and you can participate regardless of sex.
  • You have newly diagnosed AML (not a later-stage or relapsed AML), based on a 2022 classification standard.
  • Your AML has “adverse/high-risk” features based on a 2022 risk system.
  • You have not had AML treatment yet, except limited short-term medicines like hydroxyurea or very low-dose cytarabine with a small total dose.
  • Your body function tests are adequate: you can meet liver limits (bilirubin and AST/ALT within ranges) and kidney limits (creatinine clearance ≥ 30).
  • You can do daily activities with only limited limits (ECOG 0 to 2) and you can sign consent to understand the study.
