Who can take part
- You can take medicine by mouth (swallow oral doses)
- You have fever (38°C or higher) or fever in the last 24 hours
- Malaria test shows uncomplicated Plasmodium falciparum infection (not severe)
- Your weight is at least 5 kg and you are age 6 months or older
- Recent malaria medicine use follows the timing rules (avoid certain drugs recently)
