Who can take part
- You must be 3 months old or older.
- You must live in the community for the whole study period.
- If you are under 18, your parent or guardian must sign a consent form.
- If you are 12–17 years old, you must also give your own assent.
- If you are 18 or older, you must sign a consent form yourself.
- You cannot be pregnant, have a life-threatening illness other than malaria, weigh less than 10 kg (or be under 1 year old), have had a bad reaction to primaquine before, or have G6PD deficiency.
