Who can take part

  • You’re between 35 and 75 years old
  • You had a first stroke that affected the left side of the brain, and it started 15 days to 6 months ago
  • You have stroke-related aphasia confirmed by a Chinese language test (WAB score below 93.8)
  • Before the stroke, your language was normal and your native language is Chinese (with at least 6 years of education)
  • You can follow the study steps and sign consent
  • You do NOT have conditions that make stimulation unsafe, like certain implants or MRI restrictions
