Who can take part

  • Be between 35 and 75 years old
  • Have had a first stroke affecting the left side of the brain, 15 days to 6 months ago
  • Have stroke-related aphasia confirmed by a language test, with a specific score below 93.8
  • Have no major nerve/voice speech impairment (dysarthria) and no reduced awareness
  • Be able to do the language testing and follow-up visits, and sign consent
