Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 80 years old
  • You need a pacemaker implant for a recommended reason
  • Your expected survival is more than 1 year (and the study also uses 12 months)
  • Your heart function is considered normal, with preserved ability to pump (preserved LVEF)
  • You can care for yourself or still manage daily tasks before the implant, and you can take part in the surveys
  • You are able and willing to return for follow-up in the same area for the study period
