Who can take part

  • You are an adult (over 18 years old)
  • You have an implanted defibrillator (ICD) that has been in place for more than 3 months
  • Your ICD previously recorded a fast heart rhythm (VT) that required treatment from the ICD
  • You have reduced heart pumping ability in the left or right ventricle (your doctor can confirm this)
  • You can give written informed consent
