Who can take part
- Be age 40 or older when you sign consent
- Have a confirmed diagnosis of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF)
- Be in stable condition after checkups like exam, vital signs, ECG, and blood tests
- Screening lung tests must meet specific targets: FVC 40% or more, DLCO 25% to under 80%, and FEV1/FVC over 0.7
- Not have had an IPF flare-up in the last 4 months
- Be able to avoid smoking starting before screening and through the end of the study
