Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You have confirmed cancer of the cervix or uterus (specific types: squamous, adenosquamous, or adenocarcinoma), and it is recurrent or not removable by surgery.
- Your treatment plan includes curative-intent radiation with brachytherapy (often with or without chemotherapy).
- You can do usual activities or only have mild limits (ECOG 0–2).
- You do NOT have active rectal bleeding or a rectal ulcer.
