Who can take part
- Your cervical cancer is being treated with curative (aimed at cure) radiation and chemotherapy, including MRI-guided brachytherapy (BT)
- Biopsy confirms cervical cancer type: squamous cell, adenocarcinoma, or adeno-squamous cell
- Your cancer stage has been checked using standard staging rules (FIGO and TNM), and scans were done at diagnosis including a pelvic MRI
- You can have MRI scans, including an MRI with the BT applicator placed during the first BT session
- Your imaging allows lymph node spread only in a limited area (retroperitoneal para-aortic nodes below around L1–L2)
- You have not had prior radiation to the pelvis/abdomen and you have not had a prior hysterectomy
