Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You are admitted to a hospital ward, intermediate care, or intensive care unit (not the emergency department).
  • Your electronic health record shows a high risk score for kidney injury within the last 12 hours.
  • You or your legal representative can read, speak, and understand English to give consent.
  • You do not have end-stage kidney disease on dialysis or a kidney transplant.
