Who can take part

  • You have advanced non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer (stage IIIB, IIIC, or IV) that has not spread to the brain or other organs in a problematic way.
  • Your cancer does not have the PD-L1 protein (PD-L1 negative).
  • You have not received prior treatment for advanced cancer, except for chemo or radiation given before surgery or after, if that was more than 6 months ago.
  • You do not have certain genetic changes (EGFR, ALK, or ROS1 mutations) in your cancer.
  • You are generally active (ECOG score 0 or 1) and your organs work well enough.
  • You have at least one tumor that can be measured on scans and are willing to provide a tumor sample for testing.
