Who can take part

  • You have non-small cell lung cancer (a common type of lung cancer).
  • Your cancer is stage IIIA, IIIB, or IIIC (has spread to nearby lymph nodes but not elsewhere).
  • You cannot have surgery or choose not to after initial treatment with immunotherapy and chemotherapy.
  • After at least 2 cycles of induction chemo-immunotherapy, your scans show the cancer shrank or didn't grow.
  • You are in good general health (able to care for yourself, with no serious heart, lung, or other problems).
  • Your tumor does not have mutations in EGFR, ALK, or ROS1 genes.
