Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 75 years old.
- You have been diagnosed with extensive-stage small cell lung cancer (cancer that has spread beyond one lung) and surgery or radiation is not an option.
- You have not received any prior chemotherapy or other systemic treatment for this cancer.
- You have at least one tumor that can be measured on a scan (like a CT or MRI).
- You are able to walk and take care of yourself (ECOG performance status 0 or 1).
