  • You are at least 40 years old
  • You are scheduled for a colonoscopy
  • You do not have a personal history of colon cancer or inflammatory bowel disease
  • You do not have Lynch syndrome or familial adenomatous polyposis (inherited conditions)
  • You have not had part of your colon removed before
  • You are able and willing to sign a consent form
