This study uses MRI scans to see how the brain changes in people born without a hand or who lost an arm. You might join as a participant with upper-limb loss or as a healthy volunteer for comparison.

Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 75 years old.
- You either have a missing hand from birth or have no hand from an amputation.
- You are able to have an MRI scan (no metal implants, pacemaker, or other MRI restrictions).
- You are not pregnant and do not have claustrophobia (fear of enclosed spaces).
- Your body mass index (BMI) is 40 or lower.
