Who can take part
- You are fully active or able to do light work (ECOG 0 or 1).
- Your pancreatic cancer is confirmed by biopsy, is locally advanced, and cannot be removed by surgery.
- You have not had any chemotherapy or other systemic treatment for your pancreatic cancer before.
- You have at least one tumor that can be measured on a CT scan or MRI.
- Your blood counts (white cells, platelets, hemoglobin) and liver/kidney function are within acceptable ranges.
- You are not pregnant and have not had another cancer in the last 3 years.
