This study tests a drug called bulevirtide for people with chronic hepatitis B and D co-infection. It aims to see if the drug is safe and effective, and to study biomarkers that may help predict how well it works.

Who can take part
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You must have both hepatitis B and hepatitis D (HBV/HDV co-infection).
- Your liver disease must be stable (compensated) — you may have signs of high blood pressure in the liver but no serious complications like internal bleeding or fluid in the belly.
- You need to be a candidate for bulevirtide treatment, or already taking it.
- If you are a woman, you must be past menopause, surgically sterile, or willing to use effective birth control during the study and for 6 months after. If you are a man, you must agree to use effective contraception (or have a partner who does) during the study and for 6 months after.
- You cannot have any known allergy or intolerance to bulevirtide, and you cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding.
