  • You must be 18 years or older
  • You have pancreatic cancer that has spread to other parts of the body and has not been treated with chemotherapy or other cancer drugs before
  • You have at least one tumor that can be measured on scans
  • Your blood counts and organ function (liver, kidneys, heart) must be within certain limits
  • You must not have had chemotherapy or other systemic cancer treatment for this cancer before
  • You must not have serious fluid in the belly, brain metastases, or other active cancers
