Who can take part
- You have syphilis, confirmed by CDC guidelines.
- You are either at least 3 months pregnant or have given birth within the last 4 days, OR you are a newborn less than 3 days old whose mother had syphilis during pregnancy.
- Or you are a man or non-pregnant person with syphilis being treated at a Harris Health clinic.
- You are not planning to move away from the study area before the next test.
- Your syphilis diagnosis is not a false positive.
