Who can take part
- You have early-stage non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) that is at least 1 cm in size and can be removed with surgery.
- You are willing to have a needle biopsy of the tumor and give blood samples before starting treatment.
- You are at least 18 years old and have a good performance status (ECOG 0 or 1, meaning you can do daily activities without help).
- You do NOT have an autoimmune disorder (like lupus or rheumatoid arthritis) and have NOT used immune-modulating drugs (like dupilumab) in the last 8 weeks.
- You have not had chemotherapy or radiation for another cancer in the last 4 months.
- You are not pregnant or nursing, and you agree to use birth control during and for 3 months after treatment.
