This study tests whether a special kind of lighting can help babies with intestinal failure. If your baby is born at or after 32 weeks and has or is expected to have intestinal failure, this study may be an option.

Who can take part
- Your baby must be at least 32 weeks old from the last menstrual period (adjusted for preterm birth).
- Your baby has been diagnosed or is expected to be diagnosed with intestinal failure by a doctor.
- Your baby is expected to stay in the hospital for at least 5 weeks after starting the study.
- Your baby does not have major birth defects affecting organs other than the stomach or intestines.
- Your baby does not have an abnormal number of chromosomes (aneuploidy).
- Your baby is not expected to need a major surgery after joining the study, except for connecting two parts of the intestine (anastomosis).
