  • Your child is expected to stay in the pediatric ICU for at least 2 more days
  • A parent or legal guardian who speaks English can be at the bedside
  • Your child can open their eyes and does not have certain eye, brain, or health conditions
  • Your child is not receiving care focused only on comfort at the end of life
  • There is enough space in the room for a light box or cart
