Family tai chi after lung surgery for better breathing

Who can take part

  • You had lung surgery through small cuts (thoracoscopic surgery) to remove part or all of a lung.
  • You are healthy or have mild health issues that don't limit your daily activities.
  • You can walk on your own and move your arms and legs normally.
  • You can speak Chinese or Taiwanese.
  • You have not done tai chi, qigong, or similar exercises in the last year.
  • You are not planning more surgery or hospital stays in the next 3 months.
